Checking All Match Returns for Your Club

Overview

This guide explains how Club Secretaries can check that all match returns for their teams are complete in Full-Time.

Completing this check regularly helps:

  • avoid fines/charges; and
  • ensure fixtures are not suspended.

1. Prerequisites

1.1 Required Access

Before checking match returns, you must:

  • Be assigned as Team Secretary on Club Porfor each team;
  • Have access to Full-Time Admin

2. Accessing Match Results

2.1 Login

  • Go to: fulltime-admin.thefa.com
  • Log in using your FA credentials

2.2 Navigate to Results

  • Click Results
  • Adjust the date parameters to show the relevant fixtures

This will list all matches your teams have played on that date.


3. What to Check

3.1 Example of Completed Match Returns



3.2 Key Indicators of Completion

For each match, ensure the following are completed:

  • Player entries (Started / Bench)
  • FA Marks
  • League Marks
  • Referee Marks

These should display as:

  • ✅ Green ticks; or
  • 🔢 Numerical values

If all fields are completed:

  • the match will not appear in the weekly charge report

4. Charge Report Process

4.1 When Charges Are Issued

  • Charge reports are generated every Thursday morning

4.2 Locked Matches

Once a charge report is issued:

  • Matches become locked
  • You cannot amend them until the charge is addressed

5. Resolving Incomplete Returns

5.1 After Responding to a Charge

Once the charge has been responded to:

  • Match statistics are unlocked
  • Clubs have 7 days to complete them

5.2 Failure to Complete

If not completed within 7 days:

  • Fixtures may be suspended

6. Best Practice

6.1 Weekly Checks

Club Secretaries should:

  • check match returns before Thursday each week
  • ensure all teams have completed:
    • player stats
    • FA & league marks
    • referee marks

6.2 Club Responsibility

It is the Club’s responsibility to ensure:

  • all teams submit complete returns;
  • no outstanding items remain before the charge report runs
