The Norfolk Combined Youth Football League (NCYFL) offers a range of funding opportunities and bursaries to support players, referees, and clubs.

⚠️ Important:

• Funding is only available for players registered with an NCYFL team
• Only matches played within NCYFL are eligible
• Claims can only be made from 5th September 2026 onwards
• No claims during pre-season

1. Player Injury Fund

1.1 Overview

NCYFL may provide discretionary financial support to players who suffer a serious injury during an NCYFL match.

1.2 Eligibility

• Injury must occur during an NCYFL match
• Must be within the current season

2. Referee Bursary

2.1 Overview

£80 bursary for new referees completing their qualification and gaining match experience.

2.2 Eligibility

• Complete FA Referee Course
• Officiate 8 NCYFL matches:
  • Minimum 5 at U12+
  • Maximum 3 at mini soccer (5v5 and 7v7)

3. Referee Reward Scheme

3.1 Overview

Rewards referees for consistent officiating within NCYFL.

4. Sports Glasses Fund

4.1 Overview

Contribution towards the cost of sports glasses for players.

4.2 Funding Amount

• Up to £40 per player

5. Emergency Aid Bursary

5.1 Overview

Supports clubs with Emergency Aid training for additional coaches.

5.2 Funding Amount

• £15 per team

6. General Funding Rules

6.1 Eligibility

• Must be NCYFL registered
• Must relate to NCYFL fixtures

6.2 Claims

• Valid during the season only
• No pre-season claims
