Manually Adding a Player

If a player does not appear in the imported squad, RefSec also allows the player to be added manually - go to the pick my team screen.

1. Select Add Player

Open the relevant team or team sheet and select the option to add a player.

2. Enter the Player’s Details

Enter the player’s required information, ensuring their name and other details are accurate.

3. Add a Photograph

Take or upload a clear photograph of the player so it can be used for player identification.

The photograph should clearly show the player’s face.

4. Save the Player

Save the player’s details. The player can then be selected when creating the digital team sheet.

Important: Manually adding a player to RefSec does not register the player with The FA or confirm that they are eligible to play. Clubs must ensure that every player is eligible and then registered to Club Portal after the match and before midnight on the matchday.
