SMS Reporting Setup

Overview

This guide explains how to set up SMS reporting for your team in the FA Full-Time system.

Important:

  • NCYFL does not set up SMS reporting for teams

Clubs are responsible for managing their own SMS contacts.


1. Before You Start

1.1 Contact Details Are Managed in Club Portal

The phone number and email address used for SMS reporting are controlled via the Club Portal, not Full-Time.

NCYFL does not have control over these details.

1.2 Updating Contact Details

If needed, you can:


2. Updating Your Mobile Number

2.1 Log Into My Account

  • Go to: myaccount.thefa.com
  • Log in with your FA account

2.2 Edit Your Details

  • Go to My Account
  • Under your profile picture, click Edit Details

2.3 Add Your Mobile Number

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • Enter your mobile number in the Telephone Number field
  • Do not include spaces

2.4 Save Changes

  • Click Save Changes

3. Setting Up SMS Contacts in Full-Time

3.1 Log Into Full-Time Admin

  • Go to: fulltime-admin.thefa.com
  • Log in with your credentials

3.2 Navigate to SMS Settings

  • Click the SMS button
  • Select Teams

3.3 Select Your Team

  • Find and select the relevant team

4. Adding SMS Contacts

4.1 Add a New Contact

  • Click Add New
  • Select the relevant person from the Team Administrator dropdown
  • Click Create

4.2 Maximum Contacts

  • You can add up to 2 contacts per team to receive SMS notifications

5. Removing SMS Contacts

5.1 Delete a Contact

  • Click on the person’s name
  • Click Delete

6. Important Notes

6.1 SMS Reporting Is Optional

NCYFL recommends using:

  • Full-Time web reporting

as the primary method for submitting results.

6.2 Ensure Details Are Correct

SMS notifications will only work if:

  • the correct mobile number is saved in Club Portal; and
  • the user is assigned in Full-Time

Setup Steps

  1. Log into The FA My Account
  2. Add/update mobile number (no spaces)
  3. Save changes
  4. Log into Full-Time Admin
  5. Go to SMS → Teams
  6. Add contact(s) via Add New

Key Rules

  • Maximum 2 SMS contacts per team
  • Mobile numbers are managed via Club Portal
  • NCYFL does not manage SMS setup
